π³ Subscription & Billing
ShieldNav Premium subscriptions are managed entirely through the Apple App Store. For subscription and billing issues:
- Cancel or manage your subscription: Go to Settings β [Your Apple ID] β Subscriptions on your iPhone.
- Request a refund: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com β Apple handles all refund decisions.
- Restore a past purchase: Open ShieldNav β Subscription page β tap "Restore" in the top right corner.
ShieldNav cannot issue refunds directly. All billing is processed by Apple.
πΊοΈ Crime Data & Map Issues
Crime data is sourced from public municipal databases and may be delayed or inaccurate. If you notice a data issue:
- Use the in-app feedback tool: Settings β Development Feedback β Data Issue
- Or email support@shieldnav.com with the city, location, and description of the issue.

π Account Issues
If you're having trouble signing in or accessing your account:
- Forgot password: Use the "Forgot Password?" link on the sign-in screen to receive a reset email.
- Email not verified: Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a verification email from ShieldNav. You can request a new one from the sign-in screen.
- Delete your account: To permanently delete your account and all associated data, go to Settings β Account β Delete Account in the app, or email support@shieldnav.com with the subject "Delete My Account." We will process your request within 30 days.
